SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping and Returns

At Brush and Canvas, we ensure that all sold artwork is carefully packed by our dedicated team before being handed over to our shipping partners. Buyers are responsible for all shipping charges, though we may occasionally waive these fees during promotional periods at our discretion. It is our duty to pack the artwork securely to protect it during transit. Brush and Canvas is involved throughout the packing and shipping process and assumes responsibility for any damages arising from these activities. We commit to shipping artwork within 7 days of purchase. If we are unable to ship the artwork within this timeframe due to circumstances beyond our control, we will refund the buyer. Should an order be undeliverable and returned to us, it will be treated as a return, and the buyer will need to cover additional shipping costs to have it delivered again.

Freight and Transportation

The buyer bears all costs related to freight, shipping, and transportation of the artwork, except during promotional periods when Brush and Canvas may cover these charges.

Ownership Transfer

Ownership and risk of the artwork transfer from the seller to the buyer once the artwork is shipped.

Returns

Return Period

Unless specified otherwise for a particular piece of art, buyers in India can return artwork found to be damaged within seven (7) days of receipt (the “Return Period”). No returns will be accepted after this period. Upon initiating a return, the buyer must inform Brush and Canvas, and the artwork must be shipped back to the artist within seven days. If not, the order will be considered accepted, and payment will be processed to the artist.

No Return

Artwork ordered with custom framing, in custom sizes, or delivered outside India cannot be returned.

Return Process

To return damaged artwork, buyers must contact Brush and Canvas with photos and details of the damage. We will refund the purchase price minus any insurance, packing, freight, and transport fees. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method, and we may require banking details to complete the refund. The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with returning the artwork, and Brush and Canvas is not obligated to reimburse these expenses.

Refund Time

After completing the return process, we will process the refund within 2 working days. The buyer’s bank may take additional time per their policies. We will notify the buyer immediately once the refund is processed.
