Packing and Shipping

Brush and Canvas ensures all artwork is meticulously packed by our team and picked up by our trusted shipping partners. Buyers are responsible for all shipping charges, though we may occasionally waive these fees during promotional periods at our discretion. Each piece of art is securely packed to ensure its protection during shipment, and a short video showing the artwork in good condition and properly packed will be shared with the buyer before shipping. All artwork will be shipped within 7 days of purchase. If we fail to ship the artwork within this timeframe, the order will be canceled, and a full refund will be issued to the buyer. If an order cannot be delivered to the provided address and the artwork is returned to Brush and Canvas, it will be treated as a return, and the buyer will need to cover additional shipping costs if they wish to have the artwork redelivered.

Shipping in India

We offer free shipping for both rolled and framed paintings across India. We work exclusively with reputable courier partners for domestic deliveries. Delivery timeframes may vary based on the delivery address, which will be communicated to the buyer in advance. We cover 99.4% of locations in India; however, remote locations may incur special delivery charges, which our customer care team will discuss with the buyer once the order is placed.

Shipping Outside India

We ship unframed artworks to all countries worldwide, recommending that international customers frame the artwork locally to save on shipping costs. Delivery times for major destinations like the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, and Gulf countries are typically 3-5 days longer than domestic shipping, resulting in a total of 12-15 days. For other destinations, shipping may take an additional 15-20 days.

We charge a minimum shipping fee of US$ 62 or its equivalent in Euros per artwork for international shipping. The cost for larger and heavier artworks will be higher and will be reflected at checkout. For customized artwork in custom sizes, a shipping quote will be provided based on the specific requirements.

International customers should note that our shipping costs do not cover Custom Clearance Fees and Custom Duties. If applicable, these charges will be collected by our courier partner at the time of delivery or contacted for payment before delivery. These charges vary by country and are subject to change, making it difficult to provide an estimate. For further information, customers can contact the courier’s customer care in their country.

Packaging

We use high-grade packaging materials to ensure all shipments can withstand transit conditions and arrive safely. Paintings are rolled and placed in hard protective tubes, sealed at both ends.

In rare instances where artwork is lost or damaged in transit, we will gladly offer a refund. If a frame is delivered damaged, we will refund the framing charges in full for framed artwork as ordered by the buyer.

Freight and Transportation

The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with freight, shipping, and other transportation costs from the seller’s location, except during promotional periods when Brush and Canvas may cover these charges.

Ownership Transfer

The risk of loss or damage to the artwork remains with the artist until the artwork is shipped to the buyer, at which point the risk transfers to the buyer.
